Trading Card Pricing Associate (Weekend Coverage)

Overview

The organization is seeking a Pricing Associate to connect deep sports card expertise with valuation strategies. This role supports how sports cards are understood, priced, and traded across multiple categories, working closely with internal teams across sales, lending, modeling, and customer support.

This is a weekend coverage role with regular Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an internal expert in card valuation and contribute nuanced context to pricing strategies for:
  • Basketball
  • Baseball
  • Football
  • Pokémon
• Answer detailed card questions, including card values, nomenclature, history, and trends across:
  • Modern sports
  • Vintage sports
  • TCG categories
• Enter and maintain card data in the organization’s database, including intricate details, historical context, and market nuances
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Experience, and Operations to maintain data integrity and align with business needs
• Develop and refine pricing methodologies using market research, trend analysis, and category expertise
• Monitor sports card ecosystems, emerging collectibles, and transaction patterns to stay ahead of market changes
• Support ongoing improvement to card strategies and pricing processes
• Ensure work hours align with US time zones to support global collaboration

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of basketball card valuations
• Strong working knowledge across multiple card categories, including modern sports, vintage sports, TCG, etc.
  • If you do not personally have deep knowledge of all categories, you know where to look for additional expertise
• Passion for sports cards, technology, and continuous personal and professional development
• Quantitative research skills and ability to translate complex market data into clear, actionable strategies
• Ability to recognize current industry trends
• Exceptional attention to detail with a relentless commitment to accuracy
• Quick learner and self-starter able to work autonomously and handle increasing responsibility

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000 plus equity for all full-time employees
