Overview

A financial services organization is seeking an experienced Unclaimed Property Analyst for a 12+ month contract position with long-term potential. This remote role is open to candidates located in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the import process by coordinating with business units and third-party administrators (TPAs) to ensure data and funds are accurately received and imported into TrackerPro.
  • Provide excellent customer service internally to business units and TPAs, and externally to government entities regarding state filings and reimbursements.
  • Offer guidance, training, and support to the client unclaimed property team, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Understand and manage the state reimbursement request process, ensuring timely submissions and maintaining reimbursement standards.
  • Conduct quality control activities, including monthly self-audits, reporting findings to management, and collaborating with the team to improve performance.
  • Perform acceptance testing for system updates.
  • Support the department director by monitoring processes, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to unclaimed property management and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the annuity industry.
  • Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing unclaimed property processes and meeting regulatory deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams as well as work independently with limited supervision.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $20 to $25 per hour.
