Volunteer: Nonprofit Pricing Model

Overview

This volunteer role supports the development of pricing for a nonprofit’s services. The goal is to clearly quantify the true cost of delivering free offerings—specifically the 90-minute in-home sessions that include light cleaning, childcare, and meal prep—and to create a cost/margin model that captures relevant expenses and cost allocations.

Responsibilities

• Build a pricing model and cost/margin calculation that:
  • Quantifies the full cost per 90-minute in-home service.
  • Explains how costs are allocated across the in-home services (light cleaning, childcare, meal prep).
• Produce a clear explanation of the model’s assumptions and outputs so team members and supporters can understand program costs.
