Accountant (Remote)

Overview

This role involves working as an Accountant to evaluate AI-generated outputs related to financial analysis, bookkeeping, tax reasoning, and accounting standards. The position requires applying structured rubrics to assess the accuracy and compliance of financial AI outputs, contributing to the improvement of accounting models. Candidates should have accounting experience and strong attention to numerical detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated financial analysis, journal entries, and accounting reasoning for accuracy.
• Apply structured rubrics to assess compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or tax regulations in AI outputs.
• Identify calculation errors, reasoning gaps, and compliance issues.
• File clear evaluation tickets with written justification.
• Collaborate with finance and product teams to define quality criteria.
• Assist in designing rubrics for specific accounting domains.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, audit, or tax.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or tax regulations.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar.
• Clear written communication skills for documentation and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent.
• Experience evaluating AI or large language model output quality.
• Background in audit, tax, or financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel modeling.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
