Accountant

Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced Accountant to provide expert accounting knowledge to support AI model training. This role involves reviewing and validating financial data, evaluating accounting scenarios, and delivering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Responsibilities

• Provide precise accounting expertise to enhance AI model training
• Review, analyze, and validate diverse financial data and documentation
• Evaluate and critique accounting workflows, scenarios, and policies for accuracy
• Deliver high-quality written and verbal feedback on complex financial concepts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure realistic accounting datasets
• Apply knowledge of regulatory environments across US, UK, Canada, Europe, and LATAM to provide context-rich insights
• Commit at least 10+ hours per week to contribute detailed and impactful work

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Auditor designation required
• 5 to 10+ years of professional accounting experience
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
• Expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax, and audit processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI or technology-driven projects
• Familiarity with multiple regulatory environments (US, Canada, UK preferred; Europe or LATAM a plus)
• Prior experience working remotely or in distributed teams

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $20 - $60

Commitment
