This contract position involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards, and supporting month-end close processes for a client in the software development industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.
Requirements
- Proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliation tasks.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance requirements for US-based entities.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
