Accounting Expert (Advisory/Consulting)

Overview

This contract role offers an opportunity to serve as an Accounting Expert within an exclusive expert network program. The position involves providing high-level financial advisory services in complex and ambiguous environments, supporting critical business decisions with precision and thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Advise core teams on complex accounting issues and high-stakes decision-making.
• Participate in client consultations to evaluate and provide insights on potential new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical staff to contribute expert domain knowledge to new research projects.
• Develop and review sample scenarios and tasks to challenge and optimize accounting processes.
• Assess and communicate risks beyond compliance, identifying potential organizational impacts.
• Translate complex financial data and risks into clear recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.
• Promote best practices in reconciliation, compliance, and practical risk assessment.
