Accounts Payable Analyst

Overview

This role supports full-cycle accounts payable operations as part of the Finance and Business Operations team. The organization is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments, invoice processing, and expense management.

The position can work fully remotely.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle AP operations, including intake, distribution, and entry of invoices and payment requests
• Prepare and process payment runs (ACH, wire, check) to ensure timely and accurate disbursements
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Manage AP aging reports
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare management reporting
• Build and maintain positive vendor relationships while researching and resolving payment inquiries and discrepancies
• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal controls, and policy documentation related to AP operations
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Vendor Maintenance, Accounting, and Operations) to resolve processing issues and streamline workflows

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or accounting operations
• Candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint required; SAP Ariba preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Positive, service-oriented attitude with a focus on driving process improvements to increase effectiveness, accuracy, and compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $51,000–67,000
• Salary ranges may vary based on factors including geographic location, market competitiveness, and equity among internal employees in similar roles.
• Positions may qualify for Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
