AR Specialist III Finance : Contracts QA

Overview

An Accounts Receivable Specialist will join the Finance Contract Management Team, supporting internal business units. This role supports high-volume contract billing projects, including verifying billing and revenue setup, interpreting contract terms, and ensuring billing accuracy using MS Excel and billing systems.

This is a remote position. Candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of the office locations in Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

Responsibilities

• Use extensive knowledge of contract billing processes.
• Interpret complex contracts and accurately verify information in FSCM or other billing systems used to create customer invoices against PDF contracts.
• Meet monthly checking goals and credit goals.
• Process credits and credit memos.
• Create and maintain files and accounting documentation, including work in process and procedures.
• Assist less experienced peers and support internal and external cross-training.
• Lead projects directed by a supervisor or manager.
• Participate in special projects and produce reporting as requested.
• Assist in research and resolution of P&L questions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of combination experience in the following Accounting categories: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and/or Finance; or a minimum of 2 years working in a Financial Institution.
• Experience utilizing MS Excel (pivot tables, formatting).
• Strong math and reasoning skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to attend meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $38,650 - $53,000 (base pay). Actual compensation may vary above or below this range and is subject to change in the future.
