Dedicated Billing Specialist - REMOTE

Overview

• Fully remote position.
• The organization operates in the logistics and transportation sector, supporting accurate client billing and expense verification through audits and contract adherence.

This role ensures client billing and expense audit processes are accurate and completed on time. You will manage billing operations, support contract compliance, and help coordinate between operational teams and clients to promote financial accuracy and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Audit manifests daily by verifying notes, adding revenue, and reviewing expenses
• Use the Customer Weekly Report to audit manifests
• Invoice assigned clients daily and/or weekly
• Understand and maintain contracts for each assigned client
• Maintain client contract files and perform audits as assigned
• Maintain client billing instruction documentation
• Serve as backup for other billing specialists as needed
• Communicate with field operations for clarification
• Research discrepancies in billing or orders
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Flexibility to work varied schedules to meet business needs
• Excellent customer service skills

• Hourly pay range: $22.00 to $26.50
