Director – Transaction Advisory Services

Overview

This role involves performing comprehensive financial analysis, collaborating on deal evaluations, and staying current on industry trends to provide actionable insights for clients. You will manage multiple concurrent projects, serve as a key point of contact, and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance overall value delivered. Responsibilities also include producing clear, accurate reports and reviewing the work of junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including historical and projected financial statements, to assess target company performance and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the team to evaluate deal structures and valuation methodologies, considering market conditions, industry trends, and specific transaction characteristics.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to provide insights that support client decision-making.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work products and alignment with client expectations.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building relationships and communicating findings and recommendations effectively.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise from other practice areas and increase value provided to clients.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations that communicate complex financial information for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Review and verify the work of junior team members to maintain the highest standards of quality and accuracy across deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services or related areas.
• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel and financial databases.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver results within strict timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) is advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated base pay range: $142,000 - $212,000.
• Offers typically not made at the maximum; the actual salary depends on business-related factors including location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
• Annual discretionary bonus may be available, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including individual and firm performance.
