Finance Analyst (12 months contract)

Overview

This role supports monthly and quarterly management reporting, financial analysis, and reporting process improvements. You will help validate data, analyze trends, and provide commentary on business performance while assisting with financial close activities and ad hoc cost-efficiency and automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly preparation of management reporting
• Support various monthly closing processes and take ownership of specific areas (e.g., Marketing, Opex analysis)
• Check, validate, and correct data generated by systems; analyze trends and provide commentary on business performance
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and projects
• Provide project management support for system enhancements where relevant
• Assist with ad hoc projects and analyses involving cost efficiency, automation, planning, and data validation

Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accounting; CIMA/CGMA or equivalent qualification is preferred
• 5+ years of related work experience in financial analysis (audit experience considered)
• Strong analytical skills with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail
• Self-starter who takes initiative, is dedicated, and sets and drives toward goals
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment, manage ambiguity, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and provide clarity and structure
• Excellent communication and people skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A or finance roles with a career path transition from other finance functions
