Overview

This role involves supporting financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and operational analysis within a growing organization dedicated to improving literacy education. The Finance and Operations Analyst will provide accurate financial data, thoughtful analysis, and operational insights to help leaders make informed decisions and support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Conduct budget-to-actual variance analysis
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Forecast cash flow
  • Build financial models
  • Analyze financial trends

Operational Analysis & Process Improvement:

  • Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Enhance reporting accuracy

Data Integrity & Business Support:

  • Maintain finance and operations data integrity
  • Support leadership decision-making with reliable data and insights

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, purchasing, or related analytical roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau
  • Financial modeling expertise
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Background in SaaS or Education sectors
