Overview
A fully remote Financial Analyst position is available to support budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and internal decision-making. This role involves working with financial reports, business data, and confidential financial information. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Due to access to sensitive financial data, a background check and credit screening may be required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and recurring analyses for management review
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across business areas
- Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and unusual trends
- Maintain organized records of reports, supporting schedules, and analysis files
- Support month-end reporting and internal financial review processes
- Collaborate with teams to clarify expenses, revenue trends, and operational metrics
- Protect confidential financial information and adhere to data-handling procedures
- Recommend improvements to reporting processes to enhance accuracy and visibility
Requirements
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field preferred
- Strong spreadsheet skills using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Comfortable working with budgets, reports, reconciliations, and financial data
- Strong numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Experience with accounting systems, financial dashboards, or reporting tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
