Financial Analyst

Overview

This role involves evaluating financial information and providing practical analysis to support planning, forecasting, and business decisions. You will work with business information, recurring priorities, and stakeholder questions while maintaining a high standard for accuracy and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with organized analysis and documentation.
• Prepare recurring financial reports and explain material variances or emerging trends.
• Build and maintain spreadsheet models used for planning and scenario analysis.
• Review source data for completeness and investigate inconsistencies before reporting.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and other financial information.
• Present financial findings in concise language that business stakeholders can act on.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative reasoning and financial-analysis skills.
• Ability to organize detailed work while meeting recurring deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with financial datasets.
• Clear written communication and dependable remote collaboration.
• Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ownership of assigned work, including reviewing source information, checking assumptions, identifying missing or inconsistent details, and asking focused questions when clarification is needed.
