Overview
This role involves working as a Financial Analyst responsible for leveraging automation and standard reporting to provide foundational data that supports meaningful business insights. The position offers flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S., except for hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. areas who must work in the office at least four days per week.
Responsibilities
- Aggregate data, run reports, complete ad hoc analyses, templates, dashboards, and workbooks as assigned by Data Analyst Managers, Market Strategists, or Analytic Consultants
- Utilize and deliver data requests while adhering to data systems, sources, methodologies, logic, parameters, load times, lag considerations, data limitations, governance guidelines, and other data-related concerns
- Collaborate with Data Analyst Managers, Market Strategists, Analytic Consultants, and Enterprise Consultants to adjust data and reporting specifics as needed
- Develop skills and expertise over time to prepare for more advanced roles within the office and enterprise
- Provide data and analysis to support client clinical program performance
- This is an internal role with no travel or client engagements required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of data analysis experience, including working with large volumes of data from disparate relational databases and familiarity with various database technologies
- Progressive work experience in data and analytics or related roles
- Academic knowledge of healthcare cost and quality topics, with the ability to discuss emerging industry trends
- Ability to understand and support modern large-scale data pipelines for data integration in reporting and analytics
- Proven intermediate or higher proficiency in Office 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated financial, analytical, and business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data analytics, data science, or statistics
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, including successful virtual presentation experience
- Compliance with telecommuting policies for remote employees
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,200 - $107,400 annually (based on full-time employment and factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications)
