Financial Analyst

Overview

The organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to evaluate financial information and provide practical analysis that supports planning, forecasting, and business decisions. This is a full-time remote role for candidates located in the United States.

The position emphasizes careful handling of information, clear communication, and organized analytical work from initial review through final delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring financial reports and explain material variances or emerging trends.
• Build and maintain spreadsheet models used for planning and scenario analysis.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and other financial information.
• Present financial findings in concise language that business stakeholders can act on.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with organized analysis and documentation.
• Review source data for completeness and investigate inconsistencies before reporting.

Qualifications

• Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong quantitative reasoning and financial-analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with financial datasets.
• Clear written communication and dependable remote collaboration.
• Ability to organize detailed work while meeting recurring deadlines.
