Financial Data Application Specialist

Overview

This role involves supporting financial data products within a market intelligence organization that provides AI-driven search and insights from a wide range of public and private content sources. The platform serves over 6,000 enterprise customers globally, including a majority of the S&P 500.

Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts by conducting demos and managing strategic trials of financial data solutions.
• Lead trial training calls to communicate product value and address client objections.
• Collaborate with account management teams to deliver advanced training, customizations, and consultations.
• Develop custom templates and modeling tools to enhance product adoption.
• Act as a subject matter expert in quantitative analysis related to investment and valuation.
• Create enablement materials such as how-to videos, marketing content, and support articles.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to inform product improvements.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex customer support issues, particularly those involving Excel Add-ins.
• Manage integration challenges of modeling solutions within client workflows.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Finance, demonstrated by progress toward CFA certification or a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment management, private equity, accounting, or consulting with a client-facing focus.
• Proficient Excel skills; familiarity with AI-powered spreadsheet or generative AI productivity tools is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for managing relationships with investment professionals.
