FP&A Anaplan Manager (100% Virtual/Remote)

Overview

This role is responsible for the successful delivery of Anaplan planning solutions and for contributing to the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the annual operating plan process, rolling forecasts, and corporate cost support. The position also supports Long-Range Planning modeling and helps drive alignment between functional finance, field finance, and Senior Finance leadership on key assumptions, process inputs, and process timing.

This position is segmented as Remote Anywhere: work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S., except Hawaii or United States Territories.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Finance Anaplan Admin Support Team, supporting connected financial planning solutions.
• Drive technical architecture and design, including prototyping and process design (scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures, and supporting implementations.
• Evaluate new design specifications and raise quality standards; address architectural concerns.
• Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models.
• Modify existing models as part of connected solutions, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality.
• Provide timely, candid feedback and progress updates to business partners and Anaplan SMEs.
• Create and run financial reports using PeopleSoft, Anaplan, and other relevant software on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Enable systems strategy and support practical business solutions under multiple deadlines, including systems requirements, design, build/test, training, defining support procedures, and implementation.
• Exercise independent judgment within defined policies and procedures; lead a small team to outcomes while serving as a role model for model builders.
• Make a significant hands-on contribution to the development of optimization products.
• Develop model documentation and ensure adherence to company standards.
• Author, document, and maintain the associated code base and unit tests; adhere to industry-standard coding practices.
• Lead data integration and migration solutions, including UAT testing and deployment of designed solutions.
• Proactively prioritize projects, manage customer expectations, and organize the team’s efforts for effectiveness.
• Act as a source of technical expertise and mentor across development teams.

Relationships

• Internal: Functional Finance Teams (Sales Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Broadline Support Business Finance, and Field Finance), IT, and other Anaplan users.
• External: N/A

Minimum Qualifications

• 5–8 years’ experience building relevant system models.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology: requirements gathering, design, build/test, training, change management, and deployment (Agile methodology preferable).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• 1+ years Anaplan experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute responsibilities simultaneously, with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or Computer Science.

Compensation & Benefits

• This role will also receive an annual incentive plan bonus.

• Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds).
• Expected base rate for this role is between $85,000 - $135,000.
