Investment Research Analyst

Overview

A remote contract opportunity is available for a Hedge Fund Expert to support AI research teams by providing expertise in hedge fund strategies and financial analysis. This role requires a minimum commitment of 10+ hours per week over at least four weeks, with compensation at $200 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate hedge fund strategies related to long/short equity to enhance AI model training.
• Develop and review financial models to improve AI-generated financial content.
• Conduct market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analysis to inform AI research.
• Analyze investment research, summaries, and memos for AI model evaluation.
• Predict and analyze earnings to refine AI model outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working at top hedge funds.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, market sizing/TAM analysis, or investment research.
