Overview

This role is for a Junior Analyst supporting a live trading operation focused on public markets research and trading using both human judgment and modern AI tools.

Reporting to the Senior Analyst who anchors daily markets coverage, you will ensure the desk’s view of the market stays current, complete, and decision-ready from pre-market through the close. The position is full-time and fully remote, operating on US market hours.

Responsibilities

Morning market picture: Deliver a pre-market summary that is concise, prioritized, and on time every day.
Earnings/events calendar: Track earnings and key events for names the desk owns and watches, including who reports when “to the minute,” how positioning stands, and what matters into the print.
Intraday checkpoints: Provide timely notes through the session so the desk maintains a current read of the tape.
Watchlists, screens, and alerts: Maintain watchlists, thematic baskets, and stub positions; set alerts; and build same-day breakdowns and screens when questions need rapid answers.
Ad-hoc desk support: Provide fast, accurate responses under time constraints (e.g., data pulls, fact-checks, liquidity and sizing context, and other day-to-day needs).
AI leverage: Use modern AI tools to expand coverage, summarize at scale, and reduce noise.
