Overview
This part-time, remote Portfolio Research Analyst role is based in San Francisco, CA. The position focuses on managing and minimizing vacancies within shopping centers to maintain stable income and operational costs for landlords.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Investor Relations and operations teams.
- Extend and update the vacancy control program monthly, focusing on a forward-looking 24-month period.
- Address poorly matched tenant mix initiatives to optimize retail sales opportunities.
- Professionally and promptly manage property vacancies to minimize downtime.
- Monitor developments of larger properties in the same location that may attract tenants away.
- Develop and maintain a Vacancy Control Programme (VCP) targeting the next 24 months in the shopping center.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top university.
- CFA or equivalent credentials are a plus.
- Experience articulating complex systematic investment strategies clearly and comprehensibly.
- Experience working with sophisticated institutional investors and managing day-to-day relationships.
- Ability to verify compliance of critical networking equipment with policies and requirements.
- Provide requirements and guidance for internal network separation/segmentation and access control.
