Overview

This role involves serving as a Clinical Reconciliation Specialist responsible for reconciling client receivables related to clinical trials in accordance with contractual agreements. The position includes reviewing clinical trial revenues and expenses and collaborating with various departments to validate charges and payments from sponsors. This is a remote position based in the United States. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile clinical trial receivables in detail to ensure accurate and timely final billing to pharmaceutical companies
  • Reconcile financial study data across multiple sources
  • Review and interpret contracts and budgets related to clinical trials
  • Collaborate with operations and other departments to resolve variances
  • Respond to information requests from Corporate, Internal Audit, Operations, and Management
  • Analyze contracted revenue triggers to determine eligibility for reimbursement
  • Ensure all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently met
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-2 years of work experience in Accounting or Finance within a medical, clinical trial research, or healthcare-related environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, including advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with financial accounting systems such as QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of research techniques to analyze and evaluate financial data and information
