Remote Bookkeepers / Accountants / Tax Preparers (CPA a plus)

Overview

This role is for Remote Accounting and Tax Professionals to support clients during tax season. The position requires an immediate start through the end of tax season (April 2026) and is 100% remote, based on increased client demand to ensure timely, high-quality tax filings.

You will work directly with firm partners and senior CPAs, supporting year-end bookkeeping, monthly closes, and individual and business tax return preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
• Perform monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely tax filings.
• Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Maintain high attention to detail under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 2+ years in public accounting or tax preparation (required).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax code.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation or progress toward CPA (strong plus).
