Overview
This role supports the team responsible for ensuring revenue is complete and accurately reported. The position focuses on revenue for the Consulting/Digital segment for North America and involves collaboration with sales, project management, and order-to-cash teams to review revenue items tied to client contracts and engagements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular reviews of engagements to verify the accuracy of revenue for all revenue streams, including consulting, licenses/subscriptions, and web-based products.
- Partner with and advise sales, project management, and order-to-cash teams on revenue considerations related to client agreements, engagements, invoicing, and credit memos.
- Review revenue reports and perform sampling to confirm revenue is calculated and reported accurately.
- Ensure compliance with revenue-related SOX controls.
- Lead monthly phone meetings with sales, consulting, and/or project management across the S. to review consulting engagements for accurate revenue recognition.
- Review engagements validated by the order-to-cash team to confirm the correct application of revenue models and that all requirements are met to recognize revenue.
- Approve credit memos after reviewing for impact to revenue and bad debt considerations.
- Review engagement change orders to assess potential impact on revenue.
- Participate in initiatives of the Revenue team.
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including creation of pivot tables.
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail while maintaining the ability to see the big picture.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across the organization and at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and follow-through; ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous tasks to meet quality standards.
- Ability to adapt to workload fluctuations and shift priorities as needed.
- Self-starter able to make quick decisions independently or consult others as needed to ensure decisions meet revenue recognition standards.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust messaging based on audience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience calculating revenue or reviewing revenue results for a service organization preferred.
- Public accounting experience or experience working for a public company a plus.
- SAP experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00

Additional time-off details:
- 15 days vacation annually plus paid time off for 16 company holidays (full-time eligible employees)
- Sick time accrual commencing on the first date of employment at 3.33 hours per pay period for an annualized maximum of 80 hours
