Overview

This role supports the Smart Infrastructure (SI) team, helping manage financial aspects across a network of factories. The position reports to the Electrical Products Finance Operations Manager of Governance and Performance Controller and partners closely with North America Operations Finance leadership, Operations Systems/EP NA Factories Finance, and other functions.

Responsibilities include owning and improving financial accuracy of books and records, planning and controlling, measuring KPI achievement, and driving improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead performance controlling, governance, and financial oversight for key operational and corporate initiatives, including:
- Own P&L structure, including forecast and budgeting
- Reporting, transparency, and commentary
- Standard and ad hoc analytics
- OPS business review meeting governance
Partner with team members on related KPIs and support knowledge sharing with OPS technical teams
Ensure accuracy of standard charging practices by account
Partner proactively with factory leadership, operations teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to:
- Evaluate business performance
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Drive corrective actions
Develop and deliver management presentations, business reviews, and decision proposals to support executive decision-making
Independently analyze complex business, organizational, process, and system-related topics, translating findings into actionable recommendations and measurable improvement initiatives
Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned areas by providing guidance, governance, and best practices
Drive continuous enhancement of reporting, analytics, and business intelligence tools to improve transparency, standardization, and productivity
Perform regular and ad hoc analysis of business performance against targets, proactively identifying trends, risks, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
Facilitate constructive performance discussions with factories and key stakeholders to ensure accountability and achievement of business objectives
Provide qualified backup support across the EP NA Finance Operations Governance and Performance Controlling organization to ensure continuity of critical processes and deliverables
Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and other business requirements as needed

Requirements

BS in Accounting, Finance
8–12 years’ experience in Finance, preferably in a manufacturing plant environment
Very strong in-depth knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and digitalization-/automation tools (Tableau, Snowflake, etc.)
Strong networking, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Project management skills and experience; change management experience
Solution-oriented thinking and ability to practically apply methodic approaches to overcome business challenges
Ability to effectively manage deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience and in-depth know-how of large and complex manufacturing environments
Comprehensive SCM- and manufacturing process understanding (beyond finance)

Compensation & Benefits

This position is posted at one of two job levels based on qualifications, experience, and successful demonstration of the role’s responsibilities and knowledge.

Level 6: requires a minimum of 8+ years of applicable professional experience — Salary Range: $91,463–$156,794
Level 5b: requires a minimum of 10–15+ years of applicable professional experience — Salary Range: $109,670–$188,006

The final level will be determined at the time of offer based on the selected candidate’s skills, experience, and overall alignment with the role.

Location

This position will be based preferably at Peachtree Corners, GA or at one of the organization’s US plant locations. Remote work would also be considered.
