Overview

A Senior Financial Analyst role is available to oversee Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and Revenue forecasting within the finance organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this position holds primary accountability for the top-line ARR and Revenue outlook. The role involves translating, stress-testing, and explaining forecasting model outputs for finance and executive audiences. Collaboration with Revenue Operations, Global Analytics and Insights (GAI), and Go-To-Market (GTM) Finance teams will be essential across monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles. The position includes ownership of ARR and Revenue reporting from initial forecast development through Board-level presentations. This is a remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Revenue forecasting to ensure alignment of GAI's model outputs with GAAP revenue recognition (ASC 606) and reporting standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of revenue drivers including new business, expansion, contraction, and churn, ensuring these factors are accurately reflected in forecasts.
  • Manage the ARR waterfall (new, upsell, downgrade, churn) and associated cohort views to track retention and growth trends consistently over time.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations and GAI to challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and maintain a feedback loop between actuals and forecasts aligned with monthly close and forecast refresh schedules.
  • Prepare and deliver ARR and Revenue reporting packages for executive leadership, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Finance Reviews, and Board meetings.
  • Conduct variance analysis comparing actuals to forecasts and prior periods, providing written commentary on drivers and recommended actions.
  • Support annual budgeting and long-range planning with both bottoms-up and tops-down views of ARR and Revenue.
  • Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close to reconcile revenue actuals to forecasts and highlight material variances.
  • Develop scalable processes for ARR and Revenue reporting to support business growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Revenue Finance, or a related finance role within a high-tech or enterprise SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS revenue and ARR metrics, including bookings, churn, retention metrics (Net Revenue Retention and Gross Revenue Retention), and recurring versus non-recurring revenue.
  • Experience collaborating across analytics, operations, and accounting teams to translate complex model outputs into clear financial insights.
  • Proven ability to build executive and Board-level presentations that balance analytical rigor with clear storytelling.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling, including variance analysis and revenue waterfall construction.
  • Experience authoring variance and driver commentary for executive and Board audiences.
  • Proficiency with financial reporting tools such as Pigment, NetSuite, Excel, and Snowflake.
