Overview

Full-time position.

This role is fully remote, allowing work from home or from the location of record within the U.S., with no in-office requirements. Availability is required five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance, which may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations.

The Senior Financial Analyst supports enterprise financial performance through advanced financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. This role may also support strategic pricing and monetization analysis. Responsibilities include partnering with business leaders to enable data-driven decisions related to revenue optimization, headcount and cost management, and long-range financial planning in a publicly traded, SaaS-based environment. The role includes regular exposure to senior leadership, including executive-level presentations and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Prepare and maintain complex financial models, including forecasts for income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans for assigned P&L categories.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close by preparing advanced analyses and reviewing work performed by junior analysts.
  • Maintain and analyze key financial metrics, KPIs, and ratios to assess business performance, labor efficiency, capital investments, and profitability.
  • Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives and leadership decision-making.

Cross-Functional & Executive Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to leaders across Finance, Product, Sales, Human Resources, Marketing, and/or Operations.
  • Support earnings guidance and external reporting processes through forecast preparation and analytical support.
  • Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet & Statement of Cash Flows budget and forecasts.
  • Present financial insights, pricing recommendations, and strategic analyses to senior leadership and executives.
  • Act as a point of coordination for designated financial approval or governance processes as assigned.
  • Maintain and update various financial metrics and ratios to assist management in evaluating business performance, including labor and capital expenditures.
  • Partner with the business to prepare budgets and forecasts for assigned P&L categories.
  • Support the earnings release process, including preparation of financial statement forecasts.
  • Prepare the most complex areas of financial analysis for monthly and quarterly close; may require reviewing work completed by Financial Analyst I and Financial Analyst II.
  • Complete other ad hoc analyses and financial modeling upon manager request.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of corporate finance experience; exposure to a public company environment is a plus.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to synthesize complex analyses into executive-ready insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Accounting or Finance preferred (other quantitative-focused majors may be considered).
  • CPA or other professional designation strongly preferred.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.

Physical & Technical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods (typically 7–8 hours per day).
  • Ability to use a computer, phone systems, and multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • Ability to create, edit, and present digital materials and documentation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $66,600 - $105,000/yr.
  • Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Eligible for an annual bonus.
  • Eligible for restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance.
