Workday Financial Consulting Analyst

Overview

This role is for a Digital Financial Consulting Analyst focused on financial accounting within complex client environments. The position involves collaborating with team members to develop innovative solutions for clients across various industries, including Commercial, Higher Education, and Healthcare. The role offers exposure to diverse projects and opportunities to enhance analytical skills while working independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing technology solutions related to financial accounting systems and workflows, including technology assessments, business process mapping, data conversions, user testing, and client support
• Liaise with internal and external team members during project engagements, presenting key takeaways, communicating updates, and organizing project logistics
• Conduct and participate in stakeholder interviews to gather qualitative data and understand institutional culture
• Provide financial analysis and operational support to project teams in Higher Education and Healthcare environments
• Maintain clear documentation of financial structures, updates, and reporting standards

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess data quality and identify root causes
• Ability to manage and manipulate financial accounting data across multiple systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products (e.g., Visio, Outlook)
• Bachelor’s degree required; majors in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
• Previous experience in Finance, Consulting, or related areas preferred
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required by project needs
• Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with potential for extended hours
• Willingness to pursue and obtain Workday Financial Certification upon hire
• U.S. work authorization required

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $80,000
• Eligible for annual incentive compensation program; total estimated compensation range $86,400 - $89,600
