Workday Payroll Senior Consultant

This role supports the organization’s Human Capital practice, which helps clients address changes in work, workforce, and workplace. The work focuses on aligning talent strategies to business priorities through HR strategy and HR technology transformation.

Responsibilities

As a Workday Payroll Senior Consultant on the HR Strategy & Technology team, you will:

• Lead Workday Payroll implementations, enhancements, and optimization activities.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs and configuration decisions.
• Facilitate client meetings to align on scope, priorities, and deliverables.
• Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and stabilization activities.
• Prepare project deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience supporting or leading workstreams on Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation or optimization projects.
• 4+ years of experience leading workstreams as part of Workday implementations, with knowledge in 2 or more areas of the HCM product, including configuration of the system.
• Experience participating in at least 2 end-to-end Workday implementations.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience supporting Workday implementations or optimization efforts.
• Workday certification in 1 or more functional areas.
• 4+ years of experience working in consulting solutions for Fortune 500 or equivalent clients.
• 2+ years of experience mentoring and developing junior staff through onboarding, skills development, or performance reviews.
• Experience leading client workshops and requirements sessions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated wage range: $116,200 to $229,100.
• Eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program may be available, subject to program rules and factors including individual and organizational performance.
