Overview
This role involves end-to-end accounting for revenue and partnership arrangements, with a focus on accurate recognition, timely close, and complete disclosures. You will also help design and implement AI-driven automation to reduce manual work while maintaining human oversight, governance, and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Own month-end and quarter-end close for revenue and partnerships, including subledger reviews, exceptions, journals, and reconciliations
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements; investigate anomalies and produce evidence-based commentary on key drivers
- Develop understanding of commercial economics, contract terms, and data flows to ensure transactions are complete and accurately reflected
- Review customer and partner arrangements and apply ASC 606 and US GAAP to incentives, revenue sharing, and non-standard terms
- Maintain and improve internal controls and reporting
- Partner with commercial, legal, tax, and data teams to define accounting and control requirements and support audits
- Identify, design, and implement AI and automation solutions (including generative models) to reduce manual work and improve quality while preserving human oversight, governance, and audit readiness
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606, including hands-on experience with revenue recognition, partner incentives, variable consideration, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems and transaction subledgers (Oracle or similar) and month/quarter close activities
- Experience with Slack, Apple macOS, and GSuite
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay Range: $86,000 - $117,500
- Starting pay is determined by factors including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
