Overview
This role owns end-to-end accounting for revenue and partnership arrangements, with a focus on accurate revenue recognition, timely close, and complete disclosures. The position also includes designing and implementing AI and automation solutions that reduce manual work while preserving human oversight, governance, and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Own month-end and quarter-end close for revenue and partnerships, including subledger reviews, exceptions, journals, and reconciliations
- Maintain and improve internal controls and reporting for revenue and partnership incentives
- Partner with commercial, legal, tax, and data teams to define accounting and control requirements and support audits
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements, investigate anomalies, and provide evidence-based commentary on key drivers
- Develop and apply understanding of commercial economics, contract terms, and data flows to ensure transactions are complete and accurately reflected
- Review customer and partner arrangements and apply ASC 606 and US GAAP to incentives, revenue sharing, and non-standard terms
- Identify, design, and implement AI and automation solutions (including generative models) to reduce manual work, improve quality, and maintain audit readiness
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606, including hands-on experience in revenue recognition, partner incentives, variable consideration, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Familiarity with generative AI models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) and prompt development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems and transaction subledgers (Oracle or similar) and month/quarter close activities
- Experience with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite
Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay Range: $86,000 - $117,500
Starting pay is determined by factors including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
