Overview
This role owns end-to-end accounting for revenue and partnership arrangements, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, timely close, and complete disclosures for customer and partner incentives. The position also involves improving internal controls and reporting, partnering cross-functionally, and building AI-driven automation while maintaining human oversight, governance, and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Own month-end and quarter-end close for revenue and partnerships, including subledger reviews, exceptions, journals, and reconciliations
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements; investigate anomalies and produce evidence-based commentary on key drivers
- Develop understanding of commercial economics, contract terms, and data flows to ensure transactions are complete and accurately reflected
- Review customer and partner arrangements and apply ASC 606 and US GAAP to incentives, revenue sharing, and non-standard terms
- Maintain and improve internal controls and reporting
- Partner with commercial, legal, tax, and data teams to define accounting and control requirements
- Support audits
- Identify, design, and implement AI and automation solutions (including generative models) to reduce manual work, improve quality, and preserve human oversight, governance, and audit readiness
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606, with hands-on experience in revenue recognition, partner incentives, variable consideration, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Familiarity with generative AI models and prompt development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems and transaction subledgers (Oracle or similar) and month/quarter close activities
- Experience or familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite
Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay Range: $86,000 - $117,500
Starting pay is determined by factors including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
