Overview
This role is for a Consultant supporting clients with equipment inventory and related project work. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, applying GASB compliance knowledge (including GASB 34), and coordinating project planning through execution and closure. Regular travel is required in Kansas, Missouri, and other states. This is a salaried (W-2), 100% remote position.
Responsibilities
- Collect data and locate equipment at universities, colleges, and hospitals
- Analyze data for project planning, execution, and closure
- Work with senior team members to solve client-specific challenges
- Learn basic principles of commercial building construction
- Use GASB 34 compliance knowledge to interpret data
- Interface with clients via meetings or telephone to discuss project scope and findings

- Be an expert using Excel (Access is also helpful) and MS Word
- Public accounting experience with 2-4 years experience dealing with city/county GASB 34 compliance
- Valid driver’s license
