Overview
An entry-level Financial Analyst role is available with the organization. This position is Remote (United States) and Full-time.

- Annual base salary: $70,000–$80,000 USD
This role supports budgeting, expense analysis, and financial reporting through defined assignments. The work focuses on investigating details and communicating clearly so financial movements are easy to understand, including separating confirmed causes from items requiring follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Record assumptions and maintain organized working files so calculations can be reviewed.
- Gather figures from approved records and review them for missing information or inconsistencies.
- Update budget and forecast worksheets using documented assumptions.
- Compare actual revenue and expenses with budgeted amounts and summarize significant differences.
- Support periodic financial reporting by reviewing spreadsheet formulas and the schedules behind reported figures.
- Help investigate discrepancies by tracing figures to their source and requesting clarification.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of accounting concepts and the relationship between income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements.
- Familiarity with Excel formulas, lookup functions, and pivot tables.
- Ability to work carefully with numerical information and explain calculations.
- Strong organization, written communication, and attention to deadlines.
- Understanding of the importance of handling financial information confidentially.
Relevant study in finance, accounting, economics, or a related subject is helpful. Academic budgeting and financial modeling projects are examples of relevant experience.
