Overview
This role is for an entry-level Financial Analyst supporting budgeting, expense analysis, and financial reporting through defined assignments.

Responsibilities
- Record assumptions and maintain organized working files so calculations can be reviewed.
- Gather figures from approved records and review them for missing information or inconsistencies.
- Maintain budget and forecast schedules, recording the assumptions used in each update.
- Prepare actual-versus-budget comparisons and explain material differences in revenue or spending.
- Support periodic financial reporting by reviewing spreadsheet formulas and the schedules behind reported figures.
- Trace unusual figures back to supporting records and raise unresolved differences for review.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of accounting concepts and the relationship between income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements.
- Familiarity with Excel formulas, lookup functions, and pivot tables.
- Ability to work carefully with numerical information and explain calculations.
- Good organization, written communication, and attention to deadlines.
- Understanding of the importance of handling financial information confidentially.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant study in finance, accounting, economics, or a related subject.
- Academic budgeting and financial modeling projects (or internships) demonstrating relevant skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $75,000-$85,000 USD
