Financial Analyst

Overview

Full-time Financial Analyst role with remote work from anywhere in the United States.

This position supports investment and acquisition decisions by rebuilding and validating the underlying financial models. You will trace figures back to their sources, test assumptions, and help ensure recommendations are grounded in accurate analysis.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild cash flow and return calculations from client-provided spreadsheet models
• Determine which forecast figures come from signed orders versus targets
• Compare options over the same period and scope, including the “do nothing” scenario
• Create sensitivity tables focused on assumptions that materially impact results
• Produce tables and charts to support assessments
• Trace each model figure to its originating source and test how assumption changes could affect outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar
• Ability to build Excel models that link several sheets
• Ability to read and interpret an income statement, a balance sheet, and a cash flow statement
• Some financial analysis experience from a job, internship, or coursework

Preferred Qualifications

• FP&A, banking, or consulting internship experience
• Skills with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
• CFA progress
