Financial Consultant - Remote

Overview

This role supports the Sourcing & Trade function within the pharmacy finance team. The position is responsible for reporting, analysis, and financial modeling related to manufacturer value, special buys, wholesaler economics, data & service contracts, and legislative impacts across the organization’s owned pharmacies.

This is a highly visible role with opportunities to present findings to various levels of leadership and to support pharmacy leadership in driving financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead accrual estimation processes across all owned pharmacies and present results to finance and accounting leadership on a monthly basis
• Manage actuals reporting and forecasting for Sourcing & Trade value and build strong working relationships with finance leads across each pharmacy
• Create and maintain financial models related to various legislative impacts
• Develop financial models that identify financial opportunities and inform strategy
• Pull data to create and maintain financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Navigate large data sets and stand up new and improved processes
• Work effectively in an environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• Experience preparing and delivering financial results or modeling to management/leadership
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, large data sets, formulas)
• Proven ability to analyze data, summarize it, and provide conclusions

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare experience
• Experience pulling data to create and maintain financial reporting
• Experience working in a matrix environment, building relationships, and partnering with business leaders

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $72,800 - $130,000 annually, based on full-time employment and factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and others
