Interim Senior AP Specialist (NetSuite)

Overview

An organization in the healthcare industry is seeking an Interim Senior Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to support a period of transition involving a system conversion and accounting clean-up. This fully remote role offers an hourly rate of $30-32, depending on experience, with potential for conversion to a permanent position as the company grows.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle AP process for assigned tasks
• Process a high volume of weekly invoices ensuring proper general ledger (GL) coding and timely payment
• Match invoices to purchase orders (PO) or requisitions and follow up on any discrepancies
• Perform other AP duties as necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• At least 1 year of recent, direct experience using NetSuite
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working in a fully remote, high-volume environment
• Experience in the healthcare provider or services industry is highly preferred; alternatively, experience in complex manufacturing or software/technology environments is acceptable
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
