Overview
This is a contractual role for a Japanese Financial Analyst working remotely from any location. The position involves processing and validating Japanese financial contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with international financial regulations. The role is essential for maintaining precision in cross-border financial operations, where clear language and adherence to regulatory standards are critical.
Responsibilities
- Review and translate financial contracts, agreements, and reports written in Japanese to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Verify numerical data, payment terms, and legal clauses to reduce risks from misinterpretation or errors.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and provide clear recommendations.
- Maintain organized records of all processed documents for audit traceability and future reference.
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, confirm details, and facilitate contract execution.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English, with the ability to interpret complex financial terminology.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial document processing, contract review, or related roles within finance, legal, or compliance.
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to identify discrepancies and errors in financial documents.
- Experience working with financial contracts, invoices, or regulatory filings in both Japanese and English.
- Familiarity with financial software or document management systems for tracking and processing records.
