Overview

This role leads financial planning and analysis (FP&A) planning, forecasting, and performance reporting cycles that inform operating and capital decisions for the organization’s pawn businesses. The position owns the annual budget, periodic reforecasts, and monthly variance analysis for an assigned segment or function, translating store, region, and segment-level results into clear commentary for Finance and operating leadership.

The Manager partners with Operations, Accounting, and business unit leaders to explain drivers of pawn loans outstanding (PLO), pawn service charges, merchandise sales and gross profit, store contribution, and expense performance. Responsibilities also include pressure-testing assumptions behind new store, remodel, and acquisition investments. The role builds and maintains financial models and reporting tools, improves accuracy and timeliness of recurring deliverables, and prepares materials used in monthly business reviews, executive reporting, and board packages.

Success requires strong analytical judgment, comfort working with large operational data sets, and the ability to present findings concisely to audiences with varying levels of financial depth. This position may supervise one or more analysts.
