Payroll Specialist

Overview

A hospital in Northern Minnesota is seeking a full-time, permanent REMOTE Payroll Specialist to support the organization’s payroll and timekeeping operations.

• Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position
• Monday–Friday within standard business hours
• Hybrid/Fully Remote role, but the selected Payroll Specialist must be a permanent resident of Minnesota

Responsibilities

• Oversee the hospital’s timekeeping and payroll systems to ensure accuracy
• Assist with payroll processing
• Maintain HRIS data related to payroll
• Create reports, audits, and filings within payroll

Requirements

• High-school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of end-to-end payroll experience, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong HR background
• Payroll certifications

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $32.00 - $42.00/hour

• Permanent residency in Minnesota is required for remote/hybrid eligibility
