Overview

Remote Accounting and Tax Professional (Bookkeepers / Accountants / Tax Preparers)

This role supports increased client demand during tax season with an immediate start through the end of tax season (April 2026). Work is 100% remote. You will collaborate with firm partners and senior CPAs to support year-end bookkeeping, monthly closes, and individual and business tax return preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S)
• Perform monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely tax filings
• Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Maintain high attention to detail under tight deadlines

Requirements

• 2+ years in public accounting or tax preparation (required)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax code
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation or progress toward CPA (strong plus)
