Senior Accountant - Remote (Multi-Client Environment)

Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
• Handle inventory accounting and e-commerce related financial processes
• Manage sales tax compliance across multiple states
• Utilize and integrate various accounting and business software platforms

Requirements

Accounting Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of graduated experience in small business accounting
• Experience across multiple industries, company types, and sizes
• Proficiency in general accounting tasks such as AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
• Knowledge of inventory management and e-commerce accounting
• Familiarity with multi-state sales tax requirements

Software and Application Experience

• QuickBooks (Online and Desktop, multiple versions)
• Xero
• Sage / Intacct
• Zoho
• FreshBooks, Quicken, or similar
• Netsuite or other ERP systems
• Dext / Receipt Bank
• Expensify
• Bill.com
• Veem
• Hubdoc
• Amazon Seller platforms
• Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms
• Avalara, TaxJar, or other tax automation tools
• Google Workspace
• File sharing and collaboration tools such as ShareFile, OneDrive, Dropbox, SharePoint
• Remote access tools like GoToMyPC
• Hosting platforms such as RightNetworks / Intuit hosting
