Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

Remote position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

This role provides financial analysis and reporting support through trend analysis, forecasting, budget-to-actual variance reviews, budget development, business intelligence research, and maintenance of decision support databases. You will partner with hospital and operational leaders to analyze labor-to-volume metrics, monitor key financial performance indicators, and identify drivers of financial results. The position also serves as a liaison between corporate finance and hospital leadership by interpreting, translating, and communicating complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis of financial data, including clinical service line reporting, trend analysis, proformas, and forecasts, and monitoring of key financial metrics
• Conduct budget vs. actual variance analysis for assigned areas, including explanations for causes of material variances
• Support the development and analysis of operating and capital budgets, as assigned
• Research and provide analysis for external business intelligence, as assigned
• Maintain and support decision support databases, including updating cost allocations

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business/related
• Experience: 2–5 years
• Supervisor Experience: No experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in Accounting/Business/related
• Experience: 5–10 years
• Licenses & Certifications: CPA
