Overview

A leading organization in affordable housing finance is seeking a Senior Investor Reporting Analyst to manage investor reporting for a portfolio of commercial multifamily mortgage loans. This role involves preparing, reviewing, and delivering accurate and timely reports to investors and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with investor, regulatory, and contractual requirements. The position supports servicing operations, internal controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver investor reporting packages and data files, including monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Ensure all reporting, certifications, remittances, and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Reconcile and validate loan-level data against investor reports and servicing system records to maintain data integrity.
  • Review investor files, account reconciliations, payment activity, and wire instructions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support process automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and controls.
  • Assist in coordinating internal and external audits by preparing documentation, managing timelines, and liaising with auditors and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate compliance-related meetings by preparing agendas, documenting discussions, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Mentor junior team members through guidance, work review, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for senior leadership highlighting trends, variances, risks, and key exceptions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Asset Management, and servicing teams to resolve reporting issues and support internal controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial mortgage servicing, investor reporting, cash management, or related financial operations.
  • Strong understanding of Agency (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac), FDIC, and other investor reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency with McCracken Strategy and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reconciliation formulas.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate professionally across teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with process automation and continuous improvement in reporting functions.
  • Prior experience mentoring junior staff.

Location

This is a remote position available to candidates located in Missouri, Kansas, and Texas. Periodic travel to offices in Manhattan or Chappaqua, New York may be required.
