Senior Manager, Strategic Finance

Overview

This role supports financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making for global subscription services and advertising businesses. It involves partnering with business and finance leadership to drive accurate planning, improve processes and tools, and provide strategic financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual planning and long-range planning processes for global subscription services and advertising businesses.
• Partner with leaders to develop monthly forecasts, analyze variances, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure spending aligns with budgets.
• Build and maintain deep business partner relationships to support successful outcomes and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Provide strategic financial modeling and assessments, including frameworks that improve decision-making.
• Work closely with finance and accounting teams on month-end close, preparation of financial and executive leadership reporting, and Board communications.
• Drive improvements to forecasting and budgeting processes to increase forecast accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiencies.
• Develop new processes and tools; evaluate and improve existing ones to deliver rapid, scalable analytics and business insights.
• Mentor junior staff to grow their effectiveness as strategic business partners.
• May telecommute.

Requirements

• Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
• 84 months of progressive experience in the job offered or a strategic finance related occupation.

Compensation & Benefits

• US-based salary range: $298,022 (final salary determined based on background, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience; base pay may vary by geographic location based on US geographic tiers).

Location

• US-based role with remote work as the primary experience.
