Overview

The organization is expanding its advisory and asset management services and is seeking an experienced professional in retail SMA order generation and trade execution. This role implements trades to Manager Models. Models may be proprietary and third-party. The position supports SMA, MSP, and Model Only/UMA sponsors and managers, and involves maintaining the underlying accounts.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve trading processes and efficiency.
• Process client model change requests by generating across-the-board (ATB) block trade orders required to affect model changes within the client sponsor, including all related controls to mitigate risk.
• Process maintenance requests (e.g., new accounts, cash flows, terminations, tax harvests) by rebalancing accounts as instructed, routing resulting trade orders for execution within the client sponsor, and performing all related controls to mitigate risk.
• Communicate client model changes to Model Only/UMA sponsors in accordance with the ATB trade order rotation within client SLAs, including all related controls to mitigate risk.
• Perform trading services on behalf of clients to assist connectivity between the organization and sponsors.
• Own end-to-end trade operations, including trade order management, execution review, and reconciliation on trades generated by the portfolio management team across the organization and clients’ platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in the Separately Managed Account (SMA), Unified Managed Account (UMA), or wealth management industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail; self-motivated.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong work ethics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of: CG Trade Connect, InvestCloud (formerly Fiserv APL), Fiserv MMS, Envestnet Manager Portal (EMP).
• Knowledge of tax overlay and direct indexing.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $75,000—$90,000 USD
• In addition to base salary, the organization offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including:
