Overview
Position: Secondary Marketing Pricing Analyst
Location: Remote or Hybrid (if located within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX; hybrid requires 4 days on-site)
Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits
This role involves supporting the administration and optimization of a mortgage Product and Pricing Engine (PPE) called Polly. The analyst will assist in managing PPE operations, ensuring accurate pricing and product data, and supporting capital markets and secondary marketing teams to deliver high-quality mortgage offerings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Product and Pricing Engine (PPE).
- Collaborate with capital markets and secondary marketing teams to validate pricing, loan program details, and product configurations.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and escalate technical problems to senior administrators or vendors as necessary.
- Support data integrity checks, system testing, and implementation of new features or updates.
- Generate reports and basic analytics on product pricing, market trends, and system performance.
- Maintain and update documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to PPE processes.
- Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless system functionality.
- Stay informed on mortgage market trends and regulatory requirements to support compliance efforts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in capital markets, secondary marketing, or mortgage operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Product and Pricing Engines (PPE) preferred; experience with Polly is a plus.
- Basic understanding of mortgage products, pricing, and market dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data handling and reporting.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Preference given to candidates based in Austin, TX; remote work is possible for highly qualified individuals.

- Must be able to lift up to ten pounds.
- Requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting, including standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

- Verbal communication to exchange information is necessary.
